Lawn Treatments

LawnPro of Murfreesboro takes the guess work out of weed control and fertilization. Many companies overwhelm customers with an endless menu of packages. We have instead perfected the plan that will work for the vast majority of lawns in Middle Tennessee. Our program consists of 7 treatments per year. Listed below you will see our annual plan that we have developed specifically for Middle Tennessee.

Lawn Care Plan: 7 Treatments

Treatment #1
(Mid February to Early March)

Pre-emergent weed control to help prevent summer weeds from germinating such as crabgrass and dallisgrass
Post emergent weed control for the early weeds that have begun to pop up such as henbit, chickweed, clover and more.
Fertilizer which will promote a lush green yard and overall plant health

Treatment #2 (Late March to April)

Pre-emergent weed control round 2 for added protection against summer weeds including but not limited to crabgrass
Post emergent weed control for the early weeds that have begun to pop up such as henbit, chickweed, clover and more.
Another round of high nitrogen fertilizer

Treatment #3 (Late April to May)

Post emergent weed control for those weeds that are late to pop up
Fertilizer

Treatment #4 (June to July)

Post emergent weed control
Slow release fertilizer for our fescue yards
High nitrogen fertilizer for our warmer season yards such as Bermuda lawns

Treatment #5 (July to August)

Post emergent weed control
A low level nitrogen fertilizer

Treatment #6 (Late September)

Lime application to restore pH balances to acidic soil and maintains healthy conditions for the upcoming growing season

Treatment #7 (November)

Winterizing fertilizer
Pre emergent for cool season weeds
